Danish Legacy Desk

This project is near and dear to our owner, Drew. Almost a decade ago, Drew's friend, an avid fly fisherman asked him to make a desk where he could tie his flies for fly fishing. He looked online to see if there was something he could easily buy and have delivered but to no avail.

All fly tying desks were roll top oak models that looked like they beloged in his grandfathers' house - not a high-end, modern home. When he got the call, Drew immediately knew what to do: design a desk that reflected the tradition of fly fishing while being sophisticated.

This desk design incorporates a danish/midcentury style cabinet that is more modern-looking, anchored with a live edge slab for the top to give it a slight traditional feel.
