The Serpentine Quartz

It's incredibly difficult to find custom furniture makers who will work with stone like quartz or marble.  It's even tougher to find ones that will incorporate stone into a complicated shape or design.

One of our Castle Pines clients came across a photo of a quartz table that would open up to accomodate walnut leafs - the curve ball to this project was that the top was oval.

Thankfully, we have stone suppliers and fabricators that we trust so we felt confident that we would be able to execute this work of art. We sent the client several renderings with different options for the arc of the oval and settled on a shape that was perfect for the space.

While the fabricators cut the oval based on our drawings, we built a base that could support such a heavy top and make leafs that would perfectly fit the opening. No surprise, the clients were shocked at how well it turned out!
